The call is going out for sponsors for the 3rd annual Four Kingdoms Renaissance
Festival to be held September 29 and 30, 2007 at the Kingdom of Camelot better
known as Rock Island KOA at Camelot RV Park in Rock Island. This event will
again feature a variety of entertainment, vendors, both food and craft, and
educational exhibits. This is an opportunity for local businesses to sponsor an
event that is family friendly taking place here in the center of our great
metropolitan area.
Statement of Purpose
The Third Annual Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival’s mission is to both educate
and entertain
the public about the culture and life in the middle ages and the Renaissance. It
is our goal to
foster a greater awareness for our European heritage as well as providing an
enjoyable family oriented experience.
Our event sponsors local tourism by drawing participants, acts, and patrons from
Indiana, Kansas, Nebraska, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin, as
well as from the states of Illinois and Iowa. Several acts from throughout the
country, from as far as Seattle Washington and Houston Texas, have placed bids
to be part of our rapidly growing event.
As this is a two day event many of our guests stay overnight at least one night.
This translates to
an average $160 in purchases per overnight guest thus adding thousands of
dollars in local revenue. This year we are introducing a multi-day pass which
could very well increase the revenue.
The first two years were enthusiastically received and enjoyed by the citizens
of the Four Kingdoms (Quad Cities) receiving much praise from the public and the
media. The tradition will continue with several types of medieval style
entertainment for the whole family, to include; musical and comedy acts, craft
and skill demonstrations, medieval jousters and living history reenactments.

Statement of Need
Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival is looking for sponsors who want to share in
the success of this local event. Sponsorships will be your opportunity to
support this local event and receive public recognition for that support. We
think the fun and value of Four Kingdoms Festival will reflect positively on
your great products and services and we would like to partner with you in
presenting your image, services and products to our guests.
Illinois currently has just four Renaissance Festivals, including Four Kingdoms,
in the entire State. In 2004 Quad Citians had to travel at least 100 miles or
more to witness or participate in similar events with our first event held in
2005 this changed. With the unique opportunity of the Quad Cities being central
in the two states of Iowa and Illinois it increases our draw capacity by being
centralized.
This festival focuses on family entertainment geared for all age groups.
Sponsors may choose to support a specific act in full or in part, or a general
sponsorship of the festival or maybe just an ad in the festival program.
Whatever you choose, your support will generate a positive image for your
business as an entity that values making life better for Quad City families.
Your sponsorship will help support a family event that is fun for all,
educational and locally produced.
Sponsorship Amenities may include but are not limited to:
• Your business name and logo will be displayed on our shield wall of sponsors
located at the entrance to the event.
• As a sponsor of an entertainment act or as a general sponsor, your business
will also receive an
ad listing in the festival program at no additional charge.
• General and entertainment act sponsors will receive complimentary tickets,
commensurate with their sponsorship level. Use as gifts for employees, customers
or clients.
• General and entertainment act sponsors will also be acknowledged in our print,
radio and television advertising campaign.
• Choose a program ad and thousands of festival attendees will see your business
ad and recognize that your business supports this exciting local festival.

Though all contributions are welcome the following packages may help you plan
your giving better by outlining the specifics of each program:
Platinum (Monarch Award Club) $5,000 And Up
• Listed in all ad exposure
• Naming opportunities for specified events and or stages
• Full page program ad
• VIP event polo shirts
• Logo on our website with link to your website
• Top of the shield wall ensuring maximum exposure
• Onsite booth or literature distribution, if desired
• Complimentary tickets for both days of the event
• Plaque to hang in home or office naming your organization as a Monarch Club
sponsor of Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival to be presented at opening
ceremonies to your chosen representative
Gold (Ducal Award Club) $2,500 And Up
• Half page program ad
• VIPs polo shirts
• Website listing
• Second tier of the shield wall
• Name on posters and advertising flyers
• Complimentary tickets for both days of the event
• Certificate scroll to display in home or office naming your organization as a
ducal sponsor of Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival to be presented at opening
ceremonies to your chosen representative.

Silver (Baronial Award Club) $1,500
• 1/3 page program Ad

Bronze (Knights Award Club) $500

• 2 event T-shirts

Steel (Lords and Ladies Award Club) $250 and below
• Listed in program on friends page
• 2 event Passes for one day of the festival
Other Sponsorship Opportunities
For your consideration a list of acts are available to include a brief
description of their performance. Acts will include musical, comedy, children’s,
educational and joust. Our event also features a
Celtic athletic competition on Saturday the 29th and a medieval strongman
competition on
Sunday the 30th. Contributions and sponsorship of these events is on a separate
form and if interested please feel free to contact us concerning these
opportunities as well. If your business
