Rules For Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival 2008
1. Booths will be fully set up and ready to open one hour before Faire Opening,
in the specified
spot designated by the management.
2. All persons associated with the Festival will be in garb/costume during faire
hours. No Exceptions. See Clothing Guide for more details.
3. Booths with be set up and/or decorated in a period style. See Booth Guide for
more details.
4. Items for sale will only be the ones that we have a list of and have
approved. Exceptions MUST be approved by management.
5. There will be no smoking of cigarettes within sight of patrons during faire
hours. There is a designated place for this and volunteers to watch your booth
while you take your smoke break
as needed.
6. Vehicles will be removed from the faire proper by 10 am on Saturday and not
allowed back in
until 7pm on Sunday. This is for safety reasons. If you need to get stock in,
arrangements will
be made.
7. Merchants will park in a designated area only. If handicapped, arrangements
will be made for easier access.
8. Fire will only be allowed in designated and marked fire rings which are
provided.
9. Modern tents will only be allowed in the “Gypsy Camp.” Note: space is
limited.
10. All mundane laws will be strictly adhered to. If anyone is caught breaking
any of these laws
they will be asked to leave and the police will be contacted if necessary.
11. Entertainers will be on stage and start at the designated times. Not doing
so will result in a
loss of pay.
12. Volunteers must be on site 2 hours before opening for a mandatory meeting
each day.
13. All weapons will be piece tied at all times unless in a scheduled
performance and within
suitable areas.
14. We ask that everyone behave in a courteous fashion at all times unruly
behavior will not
be tolerated.
15. As we are trying to create an illusion of the past we ask that any overtly
modern items be
either hidden or disguised in some fashion during the operation of the festival.
16. By filling out the vendor form or the entertainment contract you are
signifying that you have read and understand the rules of the Festival.
