We welcome you to the fifth year of the
"Four Kingdoms Renaissance Festival." One of the things we
get asked is why is your festival called "Four Kingdoms"?
Well the reason is actually quite simple as it takes place
in the Quad Cities at Camelot KOA Campgrounds.
Our
Festival started many years ago as an "idea" and in 2005 we
were able to finally take it from the idea stage to the
reality stage. In the coming years this event will continue
to expand and grow guided by a very well thought out goal
plan. The team of Camelot Productions: John and Carole
Downing, Shani Dyer and Jame Kettering bring many years of
skills and experience to the table to create what we hope to
be an educational and entertaining event to the area.
We have had a remarkable response to our festival. This
is what has brought us back for year 5. The economy in its
current state has decimated several Renaissance Festivals
and Fairs and honestly ours was almost one of them. Due to
public response and offers of help in many forms we are
happy to bring you what will hopefully be another wonderful
weekend taking you magically back a thousand years.
One of our Major goals is to provide new and varied acts
each year as well as bring types of entertainment and
attractions that you normally won't find at other Festivals
and events in the Quad Cities Area. Our event will always be
a work in progress as we continue to fine tune and expand.
We are always open to your opinions and help in any manner
